Coffee has continuously ranked high among other beverage choices since its discovery in Ethiopia on the 9th century. The great number of companies providing coffee services can attest to that. Several important factors must be considered before deciding for the right coffee service for the office.

An efficient office coffee service builds productivity of the employees and impresses visiting clients. Begin planning with the size and location. Some companies offering coffee service operate nationally while others serve regional locations. Some particular office coffee vendors limit service to those offices with 20 or more personnel.

Consider the level of service too. A number of coffee service providers supply the equipment and coffee. You must handle the stocking, cleaning and managing orders when they provide the coffee and equipment. Full service companies also provide sales representatives that take care of most of those needs.

Cost is a very important factor in selecting the right office coffee service company. It is a good to first compare the services with the cost and also weigh the costs versus the services provided by different companies.

Do not forget the coffee brew itself. Coffee brewers may come in pot, single cup, glass and metal type models. The coffee is packed in cans, pods, bags, and other various packages. Similarly, selection of coffee ranges from supermarket varieties, specialty coffees to premium brands.

You will be presented with various machines when offering services of coffee in an office environment. You may consider buying a standard office coffee machine if you want to offer just a regular brew.

A machine producing the same amount of coffee as the one used in most home is a good choice, considering the number of your office employees. The coffee machine that makes a larger amount is also an interesting option. While you do not necessarily need to purchase such coffee machine from company that specializes in that field, doing so can be a helpful choice especially when you are looking for the one that brews a larger quantity of coffee at one time.

The espresso machine is another option. More people are preferring espresso over regular coffee nowadays. Some machines are designed for brewing both regular coffee and espresso.

Another good option is to buy a vending machine which will offer an array of coffee products and other varieties of hot and cold beverages as well. These may provide hot chocolate, espresso, and also hot water for steeping tea. We can usually find these machines in most large office settings. They are made to satisfy different tastes and preferences.

Here are some successful companies offering coffee services. The Wagner Coffee Service has been in the business since 1978. They have been providing excellent service and good quality of coffee to restaurants and offices in the Baltimore Washington area. They are a member of the National Coffee Service Association and strive to be the leader in this industry of the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Canteen Refreshment Services offers a complete customized menu. They deliver a coffee program suitable to the workplaces and different tastes. They serve Folgers, Maxwell House, Starbucks and other well-respected brands in single cups, glass pots and air pot brewers.

Bunn continues to manufacture great designs of commercial coffee grinders. It is made for simple and consistent brewing over the years. Bunn commercial coffee grinders are just perfect for your coffee grinding needs. This is from small to large quantities. Nothing compares to the Bunn coffee grinding experience.

There are three kinds of commercial coffee grinders. First is the Multi-Hopper Coffee Grinder. It can grind a regular or decaf coffee bean, releasing the tempting aroma of its grounds.

This grinder has a front-loading hopper that allows grinding a wide selection of coffee. Hoppers serve as the storage container of coffee when not on grinders. It can hold up to 6 pounds of regular or specialty beans. In fact, three batches per hopper is the allowable amount of coffee proportion. These hoppers can be easily removed and cleaned.

The second type of commercial coffee grinder is the Multi-Hopper Coffee Grinder. It has an LCD alphanumeric display that shows the names and diagnostics of coffee. There are also display racks to support freshly ground coffee programs.

The machine has Brewise intelligence which manages the grinding and brewing procedure from start to finish. Its Smart Hopper tells the grinder what coffee is being processed through a microchip.

This grinder can adjust the grind time, specifically for every batch, to deliver appropriate grind volumes. It can also communicate its name onto the coffee funnel throughout the grinding process.

The third and last kind is the Portion Control Coffee Grinder. It can meet any specification on brewing different grinds, from coarse to very fine grounds without stopping and changing burrs. The machine delivers fresh aromas for a better cup of coffee.

The Bunn G9 model has 50% more power compared to the others. It generates less heat in grinding beans. It can also grind 1lb in less than 30 seconds. BUNN portion control variations can work diligently and quickly with one or two hoppers.

Some commercial portion control coffee grinder models include the BUNN G9HD with 1 Hopper, BUNN G9T HD with 1 Hopper and BUNN G92HD with 2 Hoppers, along with the BUNN G92T HD with 2 Hoppers (ABI) and BUNN BrewWISE G9-2T DBC.

BUNN bulk grinders are reliable. It is designed to help specialty stores sell volumes of coffee grounds. This machine uses precision milled burrs to break coffee beans, for maximum flavor extraction. They have one turn knobs for adjustments and a large motor that can create quicker actions in grinding pounds of beans.

Bulk grinders also have patented rotor designs for faster cleaning after each use. A one-flip lever gets rid of coffee remains easily. It has safety switches that can stop the grinding when not in place.

The Bunn Bulk G1, G2 and G3 models differ with its capacity to hold coffee beans for grinding. These three offers a three year warranty, along with heavy duty flat burrs.

Bunn commercial grinding equipment can provide all the aromatic and flavorful taste of coffee beans in the most convenient way. Investing on Bunn’s coffee grinders for your shops ensures quick, simple and great results.

If you are interested to know which brand is a perfect pod coffee maker, then you might first want to think about the definition of “perfect”. In short, what is a perfect single serve coffee maker?

There are probably tons of definitions out there, but mine goes like this: As long as the pod coffee maker can brew many types of coffee blends, it would be perfect, don’t you think so?

The single most daunting thing about single serve coffee maker is the closed system and their lack of coffee varieties. Pod coffee maker are already easy to use and are also very easy to clean, add in the element of variety, no coffee makers can match them in capability!

Just imagine owning a senseo, this machine is easy to use and maintain, which are great. Now, imagine having the ability to use any types of coffee that you fancy that is a very good thought right?

Unfortunately, till now, senseo is still a closed system like many other single serve coffee makers. Which means you would have to use douwe egberts if you are brewing coffee with a senseo.

There is however a machine that can mitigate this situation. It is known as the perfect pod maker. Its sole purpose is to make coffee pods that are applicable for coffee makers like senseo.

Rather than highlighting which brands would be able to use this great piece of machine, I would share which brands would not be able to use coffee pods from this perfect pod maker.

They are Nespresso, Keurig and Tassimo. This is mainly because these 3 companies are using their own special pods and not the standard coffee pods. So, other than these 3 brands of pod coffee maker, the rest of the brands theoretically have the ability to brew any coffee blends using the perfect pod maker.

And this pod maker similar to the single serves coffee maker concept, easy usage. All one need to do is to choose a coffee blend they like, and then filled it into the paper filter that is provided by the perfect pod maker.

The amount of coffee is really up to individual, but I would recommend a 8-10 grams for a strong and intense coffee. After filling the filter paper, simply press down this pod maker and wait for approximately 8 seconds and you would get a coffee pods that you can use.

There are not much things that you need to take note while using this perfect pod maker, although, it would be important to check that your coffee pods are properly sealed as any breakage (especially inside your coffee maker) could be disastrous.

For optimum taste, many users of the perfect pod maker feedback that it is better to wet the pods prior to inserting it into the single serve coffee maker, the feedback is that wetting the pods allows the hot water to seep better thus providing a better tasting coffee.

So, while this is not a pod coffee maker per se, this is a machine that can really better your coffee experience with a single serve coffee maker, right?

No, this is not a catchy headline designed to lure you into reading this article! Personally, I think there are only 2 types of single cup coffee makers or more commonly known as single serve coffee makers around!

Read on and decide if you agreed with me. Sure, it is true that every known brand of coffee makers has their own single serve coffee makers, but if you would to look hard at the breakdown, there are actually only 2 types of single cup out there. Those that requires coffee pods and those that do not require coffee pods.

This difference is also what you should know when it comes to choosing your single serve coffee machine. This is because, the coffee pods offers variety while the non coffee pods are closed systems which means you are “stuck” with the brand of coffee that they represents.

At this moment, I know you might be slightly confused, isn’t most single cup coffee makers, operating in a closed system? In fact, it is so 5 years ago. But, recently with more competition, companies that uses coffee pods are allowing competitors products to be used on their machines.

With this liberation, a new machine enters the market -the pod maker. Basically, pod maker are machines that would sealed any coffee you like into coffee pods so that you can use it on your senseo, melitta one or one of those single serve coffee makers that uses pods.

And that is one type of single serve coffee machine, those that uses coffee pods. If you like variety or has your own favorite blend of coffee, then these are the machines you should check out.

The other type of single serves are the machines that are not using coffee pods. Currently, in the market, there are 3 companies that are not using coffee pods. They are Nespresso, Keurig and Tassimo and instead of coffee pods, they are known as capsules, K-cups and T-disc respectively.

If you have been drinking coffee, then these brands would not be foreign to you, which goes to show the reason why they are not using the common coffee pods -each of them have their own brand equity!

Tassimo and Keurig each boast of a wide variety of beverages within their own brands. Working with reputable partners in the industry, you can coffee from starbucks and tea from twinnigs with the variety of offerings.

So, while they lock you into their system, they do offer you variety in terms of choices of beverages. Nespresso, on the other hand, is all about gourmet coffee, and has their own special blend and their own group of consumers.

There you have it, nothing to mull over on your next single cup coffee maker purchase, out of the 2 types, you only need to choose one.
